2025 Canadian Masters National Swimming Championships Swim Meet Review
Middlesex Swimming would like to pass along our congratulations to Jennifer Komorowski our lone Masters swimmer who participated in the 2025 Speedo Canadian National Masters Championships held in Saskatoon this past weekend Friday May 16th to Sunday, May 18th.
Jennifer put together loads of solid performances over the weekend in Saskatoon!!! After Jennifer touched the wall in her last race (1500m freestyle) and the swim meet came to a close for her, she won a bronze medal, placed top 8 in all of her races, got a best time in her 100m breaststroke, and most importantly lots of positive memories that will last for many years to come - WAY TO GO JENNIFER!!
The club would like to congratulate the Regina Masters Swim Club and all of their swimmers on winning the Overall Team Banner at the National Championships out of the 79 clubs in attendance and 479 swimmers that raced this past weekend. Jennifer Komorowski was able to help our club place 64th overall, which is very impressive considering again she was the only swimmer from our team competing at the competition.
The club would also like to thank the Saskatoon Goldfins and Swimming Canada, and all of the volunteers for putting on such an excellent event for the swimmers - Thank you!
And finally, the club again makes its normal plug towards anyone that is thinking about getting involved with these Masters swim meets in the future. These swim meets are always loads of fun to experience, you will likely make new friends (or reconnect with old ones), they are great opportunities to continue to help you grow as both an athlete and person, and these swim meets are excellent for giving everyone something else to work towards.
