LAC Hollandia Spring Invitational Swim Meet Review

Middlesex Swimming would like to congratulate all of our 28 age group swimmers that raced this past weekend in London from Friday, May 9th to Sunday, May 11th!!!

At the swim meet 26 of our 28 swimmers achieved at least one best time... and 16 of our 28 swimmers had best times in every single race that they swam! Lots of the swimmers were placing well in their respective swims too, which was wonderful to see. We had swimmers winning their heats left, right, and centre. Grayson Campbell participated in his 1st ever competitive swim meet and many more competed in their 1st long course swim meet ever. The female swimmer with the most time taken off was Rokaya Hamada with 97.66secs taken off (or about 1:37.66 in time off) and the male with the most time taken off was Amari Sargent with 83.40secs taken off (or about 1:23.40 in time off).

The club had other qualifiers for the upcoming Western Regional Championships in Windsor this coming June. Those final qualifiers were Tom Morton, Adam Palma, Violet Pike, and Finn Reid to add to the other 6 swimmers who had already qualified for the 2025 Long Course Western Regional Championships - Congratulations to our Regional Qualifiers as well as those who have already qualified for Provincial, Nationals, and Trials. Best of luck to each of you in your final preparations for your championship meets upcoming in June, July, and August!!!

Congratulations to all of the athletes on your wonderful performances this past weekend and for pushing yourself to new heights!

The club would like to ensure that we provide our many thanks to the London Aquatic Club and all of the other volunteer officials for helping to run this excellent swim meet for all of the swimmers this past weekend!
