LAC LC Pentathlon Swim Meet Review

(Bonus points for anyone who can figure out which boy was attempting to photo boom the girls picture)

In London on Sunday April 13th 25 of our age group swimmers were racing at the 2025 LAC Long Course Pentathlon being held at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. This competition attracted swimmers from the surrounding region and our swimmers certainly did not disappoint with their performances. Every single swimmer swam to multiple best times, an outstanding 20 of 25 swimmers achieved 100% personal best times, and 17 of our swimmers completed the full Long Course Pentathlon successfully!!! Another area which Coach Mackenzie wanted to highlight from the swim meet was the swimmer with the largest amount of time taken off at the competition (i.e. The Most Improved Swimmer) who was Aria Nedeljkovic who took off a remarkable 3:00.17 (roughly 3mins), although many swimmers were also taking off a boat load of time, which is really exciting to see and is attributed to the hard work that they have been putting into their training.

Great job everyone on your races this past Sunday, you made us all very proud!

The club would like to ensure that we provide our many thanks to the London Aquatic Club (LAC), and all of the volunteer officials from all over the region for helping to run this excellent competition for our swimmers this past weekend!
